The Makapo Aquatics Project is a Southern California based charity that provide outrigger paddling programs for people with disabilities, their families, and their friends. Programs combine inclusion and the Aloha spirit to create a unique empowering experience for all.
Through the passionate drive of one Makapo donor, Makapo was able to purchase a path that makes the beach at the NAC more accessible for those living with mobility challenges.

Keiki Krew Programs
The NAC/Makapo Keiki Krew has two levels. The Krewzers is our adaptive, beginner team that is the perfect program for the new youth paddler. The Jr. Outrigger Team trains for races in Southern California.
