WHAT IS
MAKAPO AQUATICS?
The Makapo Aquatics Project is a Southern California based charity that provide outrigger paddling programs for people with disabilities, their families, and their friends. Programs combine inclusion and the Aloha spirit to create a unique empowering experience for all.


ADULT PROGRAMS
Open to blind adults and their sighted family and friends, the team competes in races throughout Southern California.

YOUTH PROGRAMS
The first and only inclusive outrigger paddling programs for youth with disabilities and their siblings an friends.

Ohana Days
Come learn about the sport of outrigger paddling and try it yourself! We provide all the equipment and instruction.
GIVE
Makapo offers programs that help people living with disabilities of all ages become more active and independent. With the help from our generous Ohana, we can fund our unique, inclusive recreation programs and expand its reach in the community.
