At the Cutting Edge...

Makapo is proud to participate in academic research projects that focus on exploring all aspects of outrigger paddling, its benefits, and barriers to access faced by people with disabilities. Current research efforts include creating technology to create shared experiences, exploring social emotional benefits of participation, among others.
